Tula Pink Butterfly Quilt.

tpb1
So, you better buckle up because I have quite the story to tell with this quilt.  Let's just say I will never have, in fact I do not have anymore deadline quilts! Just too stressful! Seriously.

So, this pattern is The Butterfly Quilt by Tula Pink.  I am a huge fan of Tula Pink, she is super talented and I was really excited to get a chance to quilt this particular quilt made by Linda from Canada....

Joette's quilt finished!

1
This may be a world record for me because I have finished another quilt after finishing one just last week.  I have some deadlines coming up - and some family getaways that need to all mesh together to make it so I get everything done in time.  Anyway, trying to get all I can finished so I don't get too stressed out - yeah, that's funny ;-)  So, this quilt.  It's super cute, right?

Joette made this...

Barbara's quilt finished.

PBfull1
Hi everyone! So glad you are still around this blog, I hope ;-) If you have been following me on Instagram and Facebook, you would know that I have finished this beautiful quilt made by Barbara. I know that this pattern is a Pam Bono design, and a Block of the Month - but I haven't been able to find it online and I can not pull up PamBonoDesigns.com. I do know that Pam Bono passed away last year,...

Eclipse!! Finish from last year.

Picture from Sharon McConnell - Color Girl Quilts
I worked on this beautiful quilt called "Eclipse" by Sharon McConnell last July.  I wasn't able to share it because it was being published in a magazine in the UK called Quilt Now. It is always fun to work on beautiful quilts, especially this one. I had a lot of fun with it. Sharon asked me to keep the quilting simple and I did. The quilt design is...

Patchwork Professional and another finish.

1
Okay, first things first.  I had a happy mail day this week when I received my copy of Patchwork Professional. I was asked a few months ago if I would like to be featured in their magazine. Of course I would!  It's a beautiful magazine and they did a fabulous job with the article.  Now, I just need to brush up on my German to read it. ;-)  The title of the article is Judi Madsen - The Queen of...

Flourish on the Vine and Around the World Bloghop!

So, I have been asked by the super talented Carla Barrett to participate in the Around the World Bloghop. Carla and I met briefly in Australia and she was kind enough to let me borrow a clicker and lazer pointer for one of my classes.  She was a life saver and she is so sweet!

The Around the World Bloghop has a few questions that I answer and since I just finished Flourish on the Vine for Loanne -...

Almost drowning....

In a nutshell I am frantically trying to get ready for my next couple of shows.  It is amazing how fast the summer flew by and being the procrastinator that I usually am, I am trying really hard to be finished with all my samples and handouts for my classes in Australia before I leave for San Diegoin a week and a half. I am happy to say that my samples are finished - isn't the one above just...

Flower Patch QAL Quilt Finished.

1
Remember when I started this quilt forever ago? I started a quilt along for my Flower Patch quilt pattern - one of my favorite quilts that I have designed.  I also promised to show you how I quilted this top, so a video tutorial is going to be posted in a couple of days - watch for that.

The fabric used in the quilt is Flats by Angela Yosten for Moda Fabrics - I love this fabric, and used a jelly...
